In January, I was looking around St-Henri on Google Maps, looking for a story for my Online Magazine class at Concordia. I saw a park near rue Lacasse, named after someone I’d never heard of. What does it take to have a park named after you? Who was this person? My classmate Felicia Parrillo and I decided we were going to find out. What we discovered was a hidden gem anchored in St-Henri’s industrial past and people who are working to ensure its place in the neighbourhood’s future.
